Restarting and Reregistering an Instance Agent
You restart and reregister an instance agent without unmounting/mounting remote memory locations and without unbinding/binding the virtual host name in a single or in a mass operation.
Prerequisites

The instance status is
Not running.

The instance managed by the instance agent must not represent a database.

If the instance managed by the instance agent is already running, you must not execute this operation because you would cause the instance to be restarted.
