Resizing Virtual Elements

You resize virtual elements from one instance type to another.

Prerequisites

You have permission VirtualResource(Activate,DeactivateSoft,DeactivateHard,Suspend,Migrate,Reboot,Resize).

The virtual element status is Defined.

Procedure

Choose Operations.
Choose Cloud from the tabs.
From the Operations dropdown of the virtual element, choose Resize.
Choose  Parameters Required .
Navigate through the workflow and provide the parameters required.
Choose Set.
Optional: Select the Set Note checkbox and enter a note to be displayed in the Information column of the virtual element.
Choose Execute.
