Specifying SQL Ports for Tenant Databases

Every tenant database has dedicated ports for SQL communication. If required, you specify an SQL port, other than the default.

Context

By default SAP Landscape Management uses SQL port 3<instance number>13 on the SAP HANA SYSTEMDB which will be bound to the tenant database. During move operations, this SQL port will be activated on another SAP HANA system.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step SystemsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Select the tenant database you want to configure.
  3. On the Instance Details tab, choose Edit.
  4. Provide the following information:
    Option Description
    Used SystemDB SQL Port

    If required, specify an SQL port, other than the default.
  5. Save your entries.
