Clearing Preferred Hosts

You clear a preferred host assigned to an instance used during automatic host selection.

Prerequisites

A host is set as the preferred host.

You have the authorization to perform the operation.

Procedure

Choose Operations.
Choose Systems from the tabs.
Select the instance.
Choose Settings.
In the Actions Settings dialog box, choose Host Settings Clear Preferred Host.
Choose Confirm.

The host currently assigned to the instance is no longer assigned as the preferred host.
