Setting the Infrastructure Assignment

You set the infrastructure assignment to define which of your infrastructure components are used within a network.

Prerequisites

You want to perform system provisioning operations.

You have configured networks.

You have configured user management methods.

For more information, see Configuring User Management.
You have configured name servers.

For more information, see Configuring Name Servers.
You have configured HTTP Proxies.

For more information, see Configuring HTTP Proxies.

Procedure

Choose Infrastructure Network Components Assignment.
Choose Add.

Provide the following information:

Field	Action
Network	Choose the name of the network created.
User Management	Choose the name of the user management created.
Name Server	Choose the name of the name server created.
HTTP Proxy	Enter the HTTP proxy which will be configured for the instance agent of the target system.
SAP Router	Enter the SAP router string which will be configured in the target system.
Operating system(s) using this assignment	Select the operating systems this configuration is used for. Note The content of the system landscape determines which operating system options are available.
