Configuring SystemDB Manager Credentials

You configure the SystemDB manager credentials for monitoring and performing operations on single tenant databases.

Prerequisites

  • You want to monitor single tenant databases.

    For more information, see Monitoring.

  • You want to perform start, or stop operations on single tenant databases.

    For more information, see Operations.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step SystemsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Select the single tenant database instance you want to configure.
  3. On the Instance Details tab, choose Edit.
  4. Provide the following credentials:
    Option Description

    SystemDB Manager User Name

    For single tenant databases, enter the systemDB Manager user name.

    SystemDB Manager Password

    Enter the password of the SystemDB Manager user.

    Timeout [seconds]

    Enter the timeout in seconds when connecting to SAP Host Agent or the instance agent.

  5. Save your entries.
