This section provides an overview of SAP process steps. SAP process steps are only available when creating or editing a custom process.

| Enable Fullsync System Replication |
Changes the setting of the parameter enable_full_sync in the system_replication section of the global.ini file. When activated, the full sync option for SAP HANA system replication ensures that a log buffer is shipped to the secondary system before a commit takes place on the local primary system. |

| Enable Quiesce | Enables a system status in which further data changes are not allowed. RFC calls are no longer possible until disable quiesce is called. |

|
| Enable System Replication (Dynamically) |
Enables system replication on the primary system or tier 2 secondary system (source system) and provides a logical name for the system. The step is executable regardless of the current replication enablement. If replication enablement is not necessary, execution will be skipped within the activity. |

| Ensure Replication Sync Status | Checks the replication status from the replication status repository central host before a takeover is triggered. |

| Mount Replication Status Repository | Mounts the configured replication status repository to potential master nodes. |

|
| Offline Maintenance of SAP HANA | Manual interaction step that waits for confirmation. |

| Prepare SAP HANA Update | Prepares the SAP HANA update. |

| Register Tier to Preferred Sibling | Registers the tier to the preferred sibling. |
