Executing Provisioning Templates

You execute provisioning templates.

Prerequisites

  • You have permission TemplateExecution(Execute).

    For more information, see Roles and Authorizations.

  • You have enabled the global user interface setting Activate deprecated WebDynpro views (Search, Advanced Operations, Provisioning, Monitoring, Design and Custom Relations).

    For more information, see Configuring Global User Interface Settings.

Context

Procedure

  1. From the Web Dynpro user interface, choose Start of the navigation pathAutomation Studio Next navigation step Provisioning TemplatesEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Select the provisioning template that you want to execute.
  3. Choose Execute.
    If you have parameterized values, you are asked to provide the actual values, the placeholders will be replaced with.

Results

The monitoring screen appears where you can view all steps that are involved in the process.
