Remote Function Call Operations

This section provides information for performing remote function call operations such as get logged on users, get active batch jobs, or create system message.

Getting A List of Users Who Are Logged On

You can display a list of all users who are logged on to the application server.

Creating System Messages

You create a system message to send important information to the users of an SAP system. You can either create the message for all users on all application servers, or only for the users who are logged on to a particular application server.

Listing System Messages

You can list the messages that are currently being displayed to users in your system.

Managing Logon Groups

You can group SAP system instances and manage them as logon groups. You can create and delete group entries, remove instances from groups, and delete entire logon groups.

Getting Active Batch Jobs

You retrieve information on active background jobs.

Getting System Information

You retrieve information about specific systems, such as the system ID (SID), release, and installation number, as well as information about specific components such as the release and the Support Package level.
