Links
Custom links allow you to launch external applications, for example, SAP NetWeaver Administrator or SAP Logon, from the details view of the instances or hosts in SAP Landscape Management.
Placeholders for Links
This section describes placeholders that you can use within the URL of a link. SAP Landscape Management replaces these placeholders
by the appropriate values of the selected instance or host.
Creating Links
You create links to launch external applications, for example,
SAP
NetWeaver Administrator or SAP Logon, from SAP Landscape Management.
Editing Links
You edit a link for example to change the name of the link or adapt the placeholders
that you use within the URL of the link.
Adding Constraints to Links
You add constraints, which define when and for which entity a link is
displayed.
Rearranging the Order of Links
You rearrange the order of links shown in the details view of the instances or
hosts.
Exporting Links
You export links to provide a backup in an XML file so that you can restore your
links.
Example: Launching ABAP Task Manager
You create a link to launch SAP Logon, call transaction STC01 to
open the ABAP task manager for lifecycle management automation, and transfer a parameter from
SAP Landscape Management.
