Stopping Tenant Databases

You stop tenant databases.

Prerequisites

You comply with all prerequisites described in the Operations Guide for SAP HANA Tenant Databases.

You have permission Service(Start,Stop).

For more information, see Standard Permissions.
The tenant database status is Running.

Choose Operations.
Choose Systems from the tabs.
From the Operations dropdown for the tenant database, choose Stop.
Optional: SAP Landscape Management checks if intersystem dependencies are defined, and either performs the necessary action or prompts you to decide whether to proceed with the operation. To ignore any intersystem dependencies, select the Ignore Intersystem Dependencies checkbox.
Optional: Select the Set Note checkbox and enter a note that is to be displayed in the Description column of the tenant database.
Choose Execute.

The tenant database status is Not Running.

You can manage activities related to the operation that is currently running.
