ABAP PCA

You specify task lists or task list variants and the clients on which you want to execute post-copy automation (PCA).

Prerequisites

  • You have read the ABAP Post-Copy Automation Installation and Configuration Guides.

  • You have identified the task lists or task list variants you want to execute.

  • You have ensured, that the following is identical on the source and the target system:

    • Software version
    • Post-copy automation SAP Notes
    • Task lists
    • Task list variants

Context

Procedure

  • To change the passwords of all configured remote function call (RFC) destinations to the master password, select the Apply Master Password to all configured RFC Destinations checkbox.
  • SAP Landscape Management automatically proposes default task lists depending on your source system. You can change or remove the default task lists, specify task list variants, or add further task lists or task list variants as follows:
    1. Choose Add.
    2. Select the client on which you want to execute the task list or task list variant.
    3. Select the task list or task list variant you want to execute.
      The SAP Landscape Management executes task lists sequentially in the order they are listed in the Post-Copy Automation table.
