Solution Manager Settings

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step SystemsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Under Overview, select the system of type Solution Manager system.
  3. On the System Details tab, choose Edit.
  4. Navigate to the Solution Manager Settings step.
  5. To set the default values for the Diagnostics Agent connection used by the Java SCS message server, choose Set Defaults or provide the following information:

    Host Enter the fully qualified host name of the SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics (SMD) server.
    Port Enter the HTTP SCS message server port.
    Use SSL To use SSL, select this checkbox.
    User Enter the SMD_ADMIN user created in the SMD Setup Wizard step in the managing system.
    Password Use the password for the SMD_ADMIN user created in the SMD Setup Wizard step in the managing system.
    SAP Router The router string describes the stations of a connection required between the Diagnostics Agent and SAP Solution Manager.
    SAP Router Password Use the password for the SMD_ADMIN user created in the SMD Setup Wizard step in the managing system.
  6. To set the default values for the Solution Manager server connection, choose Set Defaults or provide the following information:

    Host Enter the host name of the SAP Solution Manager message server.
    Port Enter the SAP Solution Manager port.
    Connect Using HTTPS To access the SAP Solution Manager IT calendar using HTTPS instead of HTTP, select this checkbox.
  7. Save your entries.
