Assigning Focused Run Systems to Managed Systems

You assign a Focused Run system to another managed system in SAP Landscape Management.

Prerequisites

You have added a Focused Run system as managed system in SAP Landscape Management.

In SAP Landscape Management, you have configured that system to be of type Focused Run system.

For more information, see Configuring Managed Systems as Focused Run Systems.

Choose Configuration Systems.
Select the system for which you want to assign an Focused Run system.
On the System Details tab, choose Edit.
Under the Basic Configuration step, select the required Focused Run system from the Assign Focused Run System dropdown list.
Optional: Under the Mass Configuration step, you can assign other managed systems to the Focused Run system.
Save your entries.

After you save the changes to the managed system, validations run asynchronously. SAP Landscape Management checks whether the managed system is registered in the Focused Run system and warns you in case of issues. SAP Landscape Management also verifies the version of the Focused Run system.
