Prerequisites for SAP HANA Instances
Additional prerequisites for SAP HANA instances are:
-
SAP HANA 1.0 Revision 81 or higher
-
SAP Host Agent 7.20 SP 191 or higher
-
SAP Adaptive Extensions
For more information, see SAP Adaptive Extensions.
-
SAP Host Agent must have write access to the operations.d subfolder. If this is not possible because the subfolder is a mounted NFS share, extract the latest SAP Adaptive Extensions into this share.
-
To manage and monitor SAP HANA as a database, make sure that:
- You have installed the hdbclient on each SAP HANA host.
- You have specified a database user either in the instance configuration or in the <HANA-SID> SAPDBCTRL hdbuserstore key for the <hana-sid>adm user.
-
The file system /usr/sap/<HANA-SID> is a local file system and must not be mounted.
