Assigning Custom Relations and Target Entities

If you have configured custom relations, you can assign a custom relation type and the target entity.

Prerequisites

You have configured custom relations.

For more information, see Creating Custom Relations.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step SystemsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Under Overview, select the system or instance you want to configure.
  3. On the System Details or Instance Details tab, choose Edit.
  4. In the Entity Relations section, choose Add and provide the following information:
    Option Description

    Custom Relation Type

    All entities configured for the custom relation are displayed in a dropdown. Select the source entity required.

    Target Entity Type

    All entities configured for the custom relation are displayed in a dropdown. Select the target entity required.

    Target Entity

    Select the target entity.
  5. Save your entries.
