You can personalize the user interface (UI) settings, regional settings, or search options for the user logged on.

Procedure

1. In the main menu, choose <User logged on>  Personalize.

   A dialog box appears.

2. Choose the General Settings tab page.
3. You personalize the following user interface settings:

   Option	Description
   Enable Persistence for UI Preferences	To permanently keep your UI preferences even after you log off, select this checkbox.
   Display Online Help Vertically [on the right]	To view the online help pane on the right-hand side of the screen, select this checkbox.
   Expand Side Navigation	To expand side top-level navigation icons, select this checkbox.
   Application Color Marker	To change the color of the browser tab, select a color from the dropdown box.
   Application Title Prefix/Suffix	Specify an individual title for the browser tab. You can use the following parameters: To display the current system ID, enter <SID>. To display the current hostname, enter <hostname>.

4. You personalize the following regional settings:

   Option	Description
   Online Help Language	Select the required help content language.
   Time Format	Select the appropriate time format.

5. You personalize the following search options:

   Option	Description
   Number of Results	Specify the maximum number of search results.
   Number of Recent Searches	Specify the maximum number of recent searches kept.

6. Save your entries.
