You take a snapshot of a system including all volumes to reuse a consistent state of the system for system provisioning operations. The number of snapshots you can take depends on the available space and capabilities of the storage system.

Procedure

1. Choose Provisioning.
2. Choose Systems from the tabs.
3. From the Provisioning dropdown for the system you want to take a snapshot of, choose Manage System Snapshots  Take System Snapshot.
4. Enter a description for the snapshot.
5. Navigate through the workflow by following the instructions on the screen.
6. Choose Execute.
