Creating Working Sets

You define working sets for the user logged on to restrict the number of pools displayed on the user interface. When managing complex system landscapes, you easily switch on or off the visibility of pools needed or suitable for your current work.

Context

Due to important dependencies, the working sets configured do not or only partially affect the number of pools displayed on the following screens:

Procedure

  1. In the main menu, choose Start of the navigation path<User logged on> Next navigation step PersonalizeEnd of the navigation path.

    A dialog box appears.

  2. Navigate to the Working Sets tab.

    All pools available for the user logged on are displayed.

    You can now edit existing working sets such as the default working set My Working Set or create a new one.

  3. To create a new working set, choose Add .
  4. Enter a name for the working set.
  5. Optional: Choose a color for the working set. The color will be displayed in the header area of the user interface.
  6. Choose OK.
  7. Select the pools to be displayed on the user interface when the working set is selected.
  8. Save your entries.

Results

You can now choose the working set configured from the Working Set dropdown that is located in the header area of the user interface.
