Custom Hook Types

This section describes the custom hook types available in SAP Landscape Management.

Hook Type	Description
Pre	Custom hook is executed before the operation.
Post	Custom hook is executed after the operation.
Error	Custom hook is executed if operation fails.
Replacement	Custom hook is executed instead of the operation. Note Disclaimer: You have to ensure that dependent subsequent process steps are not affected by the replacement of the standard SAP Landscape Management operation. You must bring the instance or host in the same status as the default SAP Landscape Management operation, for example if you replace a stop operation, SAP Landscape Management expects that the instance is properly stopped, as subsequent processes may depend on that status.
