Creating Custom Notifications

You configure custom notifications, to implicit invoke a provider implementation for an entity type if a notification event occurs.

Prerequisites

  • You have provided the provider definitions for custom notifications.

    For more information, see Provider Definitions.

  • You have the required permissions to perform custom operations.

    For more information, see Standard Permissions.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathAutomation Studio Next navigation step Custom NotificationsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Choose Create.
  3. Enter the name for the custom notification.
  4. Choose the name of the corresponding provider definition.
  5. Select the notification options on which this custom notification can be executed:
    • Validations
    • Activities
    • Scheduling
  6. Choose Create Notification.
