Downloading Log Support Information

You download a support information ZIP file concerning a specific log to attach it to a customer incident.

Prerequisites

You have permission DataExport.

For more information, see Standard Permissions.

Context

This ZIP file includes basic information, such as the SAP Landscape Management version and edition installed, the build date, SCA versions, database type, and storage manager information, as well as log files. It does not contain any password data or security-relevant information.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathMonitoring Next navigation step Logs Next navigation step Support InformationEnd of the navigation path.
    A dialog box appears.
  2. To download the ZIP file to your preferred directory, select the LaMaSupportInfo.zip checkbox.

    The ZIP file contains the following files:

    Activity.gml

    Export file with information about the chosen activity including all activity steps.

    Activity.xml

    Export file with information about the chosen activity including all activity steps.

    ActivityParams.log

    Export file with activity step parameters, such as mountpoints and IP addresses.

    BasicSupportInfo.txt

    Export file with information about the SAP Landscape Management version and edition installed, build date, SCA versions, database type, and storage manager, including a connection test.

    It also contains details about the error occurred, including an exception trace if available.

    ConfigExport.xml

    Export file with configuration data of related systems and hosts.

    This file does not contain any password data or security-relevant information.

    OperationLog.xml

    Export file with related logs.

    ValidationExport.xml

    Export file with validations.

  3. Choose Download.

Results

When raising an incident in component BC-VCM-LVM, you can now attach the ZIP file.
