Preparing Replication Status Repositories

You can create SAP HANA replication status repositories to ensure that SAP HANA systems are in sync. To create SAP HANA replication status repositories, you configure an NFS share and the central host.

Prerequisites

  • You have detected a host.

    For more information, see Adding Hosts.

  • The central host is high available.

  • The central host is not used in another SAP HANA system replication setup, neither on a primary nor on a secondary tier.

  • The NFS share is high available.

  • The NFS share is mountable by all SAP HANA nodes configured for the hook.

  • The NFS share is writable by the SAP HANA SID adm.

Context

Procedure

  1. Prepare the central host as described in SAP Note 2638848 Information published on SAP site.
  2. Mount the NFS share to the central host.
