Configuring the Secondary System
To set up the secondary system for system replication, you configure and register it with the primary system.
Prerequisites

You have permission Service(ForcedPrepare,ForcedUnPrepare,ForcedStart,ForcedStop).

You comply with the prerequisites for system replication.

You have configured the primary system so that you can register a secondary system with it.
For more information, see Configuring the Primary System.

The status of the secondary system is
Not Running.
For more information, see Instance Operations.

You are logged on to the host of the master name server as the root user on the secondary system.

If the host names of the primary and the secondary system are the same, change the host names used on the secondary system.

Check if the host name resolution works in both directions before you configure the secondary system for system replication.

You know the replication mode that you want to use.
