Changing Log Retention

You change the log retention mode.

Prerequisites

You have permission Service(ForcedPrepare,ForcedUnPrepare,ForcedStart,ForcedStop).

For more information, see Standard Permissions.

Choose Operations.
Choose Systems from the tabs.
From the Operations dropdown for the system, choose SAP HANA Replication Change Log Retention.
Choose the log retention mode:
- auto
- force
- force_on_takeover
- off
- on
Optional: Select the Set Note checkbox and enter a note to be displayed in the Description column of the instance.
Choose Execute.
