Creating Operation Templates
You create operation templates where you either combine operations available for execution as per your needs on entities specified or you create operation templates for an SAP HANA process or a custom process available for execution on entities specified.
Prerequisites

You have assigned the roles and groups required to perform the operation.

You have the authorization to create operation templates.
For more information, see Standard Permissions.

Optional: You have saved operations as template.
For more information, see Saving Operations as Template.

Optional: You have created a custom process.
For more information, see Creating Custom Processes.

Procedure
- Choose .
- Choose Create.

On the General tab, provide the following information:
Field
Description
Name
Enter a name for the operation template.
Description
Enter a description to provide more information about the operations contained in the template.
Ignore Inter System Dependencies
Decide whether to ignore inter system dependencies that you have defined.

Ignore Validations
Decide whether to ignore validations you set up for validating the host and instance configuration data that is actively acquired via the host and instance agents, respectively.

Allow execution if notes exist
Decide whether to allow the operation template execution if notes exist. You have the following options:-
Set a new note

Ignore existing notes
Ignore Host Check
Decide whether to check the host for recommended requirements of the instance.

On the Steps tab, define the operation template:
- Save the operation template.
