Enabling System Replication
You enable system replication on the primary system or tier 2 secondary system (source system) and provide a logical name for the system.
Prerequisites

You have permission Service(ForcedPrepare,ForcedUnPrepare,ForcedStart,ForcedStop).

You are logged on to the host of the master name server as user<sid>adm.

If the hostnames of the primary and the secondary system are the same (for example, because two systems are used that have identical hostnames) change the hostnames used on the secondary system.

You have performed an initial data backup.

The system status is
Running.

Procedure
- Choose Operations.
- Choose Systems from the tabs.

From the Operations dropdown for the instance, choose
SAP HANA Replication 
Enable System
Replication
.
- Enter a site name for the system.
- Optional: Select the Set Note checkbox and enter a note to be displayed in the Description column of the instance.
- Choose Execute.
