Process Types

This section provides an overview of process types that are available in SAP Landscape Management.

Process Type	Description
Defined by SAP	A process where SAP has combined various operations and SAP process steps. For example to perform the following SAP HANA processes: Takeover Near Zero Downtime Takeover Near Zero Downtime Maintenance Failback for SAP HANA System Replication To edit or add additional steps to an SAP defined process, you copy an SAP defined process and with that create your individual customer-defined process. SAP process steps are only available when creating or editing custom processes.
Defined by Customer	A custom process where you have combined operations and SAP process steps available for execution as per your needs.
