Adding Virtual Hosts

You use this procedure to add the activated virtual hosts in SAP Landscape Management. Once you have added the virtual hosts, you can run the instances on these virtual hosts.

Procedure

Choose Configuration Hosts.
Choose Discover.
In the Source dropdown, choose Virtualization Manager.
In the Virtualization Manager dropdown, choose the virtualization manager from which you want to retrieve the hosts.
Choose Retrieve.
Choose Next.
Under Assign Hosts to Pools, do one of the following:
- To automatically assign pools to hosts:
  1. In the Action dropdown, choose Auto Assign to Pools.
  2. Choose Auto Assign.
- To manually assign pools to hosts:
  1. In the Action dropdown, choose Assign to Pool.
  2. In the Pool dropdown, select the required pool.
  3. Choose Assign.
Choose Next.

You can view the summary of the added hosts and the corresponding properties.
Save your entries.
