Configuring Remote Function Call Destinations

You configure Remote Function Call (RFC) destinations.

Prerequisites

You want to execute RFC operations in the system.

Example
- Retrieving all users which are currently logged on
- Managing the logon groups
You want to call post-copy automation within the ABAP system during the copy, refresh, or rename processes.

You want to use an ABAP function module as provider implementation definition.

You want to execute SAP Test Data Migration Server (TDMS) stand-alone data scrambling during a system refresh process.

Select the Configure RFC Destination checkbox and provide the following information:

Option	Description
SAP System User Name	Enter the user name used for the SAP system logon.
SAP System Password	Enter the password used for the SAP system logon.
SAProuter String	Enter the SAProuter string, if required.
Default Application Server	Select the application server you want to connect to.
Language	Enter the language for the SAP system logon.
Client	Enter the client for the SAP system logon.

To add RFC destinations for executing post-copy automation task lists, choose Add and enter the required data.

Note Ensure that task lists are executed by SAP Landscape Management in different clients. We recommend to execute the default task list in client 000 first.
Save your entries.
