Deleting Logs

You can delete operation logs or change logs without archiving to reduce the load of the log database.

Prerequisites

You have permission Log(Archive).

For more information, see Standard Permissions.
You have enabled the deletion of logs without archiving.

For more information, see Configuring Archive Log Settings.

Procedure

Choose Monitoring Logs.
Optional: Specify your filtering criteria.
Choose Delete.
Select one of the following options:
- To delete all logs, select All.
- To delete log entries created within a specific period, select Time Range and specify the period.
If you have applied a filter, SAP Landscape Management deletes only log entries that meet your filtering criteria.
Choose OK.

Results

SAP Landscape Management does not consider the log status and deletes the log entries specified.
