Visualizing the System Landscape

You view the SAP Landscape Management landscape entities and their relationship in a graphical form.

Prerequisites

You are authorized to visualize landscape entities.

You have assigned the roles and groups required.

If you want a landscape view other than the default views to be available, you have configured characteristics.

For more information, see Configuring Characteristics.
If you want to view dependencies between selected systems, you have defined intersystem dependencies.

Entity relations define how entities can be related to each other.

For an overview of automatically created relations that are available for visualization, see Entity Relations.
If you want to view static relations between entities other than the entity relations that are created automatically, you have configured custom relations.

Context

The default tiles below are available for each of the landscape views. They help you to identify the landscape entity hierarchy, dependencies, and their statuses.

Procedure

Choose Overview Visualization.
Choose the tile for the entity whose relations you want to view.
Drill down to a specific entity until a graph is displayed.

The root entity of the graph is displayed with a blue border.
To filter the graph by entities or relations, choose Show Relations Filter and select the checkboxes required.
To perform an operation on an entity that is displayed, proceed as follows:
1. Choose the tile for the entity.
  
  A dialog box displays the details of the entity.
2. Choose the operation required from the dropdown.
