Managing SAP Adaptive Extensions Installations
You install, upgrade, or downgrade SAP Adaptive Extensions.
Prerequisites

You have created a repository for SAP Adaptive Extensions.

You have configured SAP Adaptive Extensions.

You have configured a host.

The host status is Available.
Context
-
If the SAP Adaptive Extensions version that is currently installed is lower than the version configured, you upgrade SAP Adaptive Extensions.

If the SAP Adaptive Extensions version that is currently installed is higher than the version configured and you selected the Allow Downgrade checkbox when you configured the host, you downgrade SAP Adaptive Extensions.

If you have installed SAP Host Agent on the host but not installed SAP Adaptive Extensions, you install SAP Adaptive Extensions.

Results
Depending on your configuration, you have installed, upgraded, or downgraded the configured version of SAP Adaptive Extensions on the host.
