Performing Operations on Activities

You control executed operations by performing control operations such as cancel, hold, release, or remove on an activity.

Prerequisites

  • You have executed an operation on any required system.

  • You have permission Activity(Operate).

    For more information, see Standard Permissions.

  • Optional: To set the default display to only those activities that have been executed within the last 7 days, you have configured the global user interface settings.

    For more information, see Configuring Global User Interface Settings.

  • Optional: To prevent activities and activity steps from being deleted from the database after 30 days by default, you have adapted the time limit in the engine settings.

  • Optional: To receive notifications when an activity reaches a status specified, you have enabled e-mail notifications or custom notifications for activities.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathMonitoring Next navigation step ActivitiesEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Perform operations on the activities as required.
