Entity Relations

Entity relations define how entities can be related to each other in SAP Landscape Management. This section provides an overview of entity relations that are created automatically by SAP Landscape Management based on the entities that participate in the relationship.

Last Used Host	Host	Instance	Relationship between a host and the last host assigned to the instance.
Multi-Database Container	Database	Database	Relationship between a system database as source entity and a tenant database as target entity.

Preferred Host	Host	Instance	Relationship between an instance and the host set as preferred host for the instance.
Preferred Replication	Instance	Instance	Relationship between the primary instance and the preferred replication instance for nZDM takeover. The preferred replication is specified in the following replication mode order: SYNC SYNCMEM ASYNC
Previous Replication	Instance	Instance (Replication)	Relationship between the previous replication instances, for example after a takeover.
Primary Replication	Instance	Instance	Relationship between an instance and the current active primary instance.
Provisioning	Instance	Instance	Relationship between the source instance and its target instance when performing provisioning operations.
Replication	Instance	Instance	Relationship between a source instance and its replicated instance as target entity.
Replication Siblings	Instance	Instance (Sibling)	Relationship between all instances that share the same primary, but are in a different replication site than the primary.
Replication Tier	Set	Set	Relationship between all instances of the same replication tier.
Set Aggregation	Set	Instance	Relationship between a group of instances assigned to a system, such as all application server instances assigned to a system, or all database instances assigned to one tier.
Sibling Instance	Instance	Instance	Relationship between a source instance assigned to a sibling instance of the same type which is part of the same system.
Storage Hierarchy	Storage Element	Storage Element	Relationship that shows the hierarchy of all storage element types.
System Aggregation	System	Instance	Relationship between a system and the instances assigned to a system.
System Clone	System	System	Relationship between a source system and the clone of the system as target entity.
System Copy	System	System	Relationship between a source system and the copy of the system as target entity.
