Configuring Managed Systems as SAP Solution Manager Systems

You configure a managed system as SAP Solution Manager system.

Prerequisites

In SAP Landscape Management you have added an SAP Solution Manager system.

Context

After you have added an SAP Solution Manager system in SAP Landscape Management, you must configure the connection between SAP Landscape Management and this system, as well as the RFC destination.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathConfiguration Next navigation step SystemsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Select the SAP Solution Manager system that you have added.
  3. On the System Details tab, choose Edit.
  4. Navigate to the Basic Configuration step.
  5. In the General section, select Solution Manager System from the Type drop down list.
  6. Specify the following Solution Manager Settings:
    Option Description
    Message Server

    Enter the SAP Solution Manager message server.
    Port

    Enter the message server port.
    Connect Using HTTPS

    To access the SAP Solution Manager IT calendar using HTTPS, select this field.

  7. In the step Provisioning & RFC, select the Configure RFC Destination checkbox and enter the necessary details to configure an RFC destination to the SAP Solution Manager system.
  8. Save your entries.
