Configuring Custom Instances

You integrate non SAP NetWeaver systems into SAP Landscape Management by configuring custom instances.

Prerequisites

You have configured SAP Host Agent.

Context

SAP Landscape Management can manage SAP instances and databases using SAP Host Agent. To manage custom instances, such as a mail server within SAP Landscape Management, you configure SAP Host Agent registered scripts. For each custom instance type that you want to manage within SAP Landscape Management, you create a set of generic operations.

Procedure

On each host on which you want to manage custom instances, provide operations for each custom instance type as described in SAP Note 1396981 Information published on SAP site
