SAP Landscape Management 3.0, Enterprise Edition

Configuring Synchronization Settings

To keep an SAP Landscape Management in sync with another, you enable and schedule the regular synchronization of the SAP Landscape Management configuration. This synchronization is based on the export and import functionality.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged on to the SAP Landscape Management to which you want to regularly import the configuration data.

  • You have enabled stand-by mode.

For more information, see Enable Stand-By Mode.

  • You are authorized to access the download servlet. You have the role SAP_LVM_SUPERADMIN or ADMINISTRATOR.

For more information, see Standard Roles and Groups.

  • You have generated an XML file containing all of the configuration details that you want to synchronize using SAP Landscape Management, and you have saved it to a location of your choice.

For more information, see Exporting the Configuration Data.

  • For a direct synchronization, you have configured the Default Encryption Password on the SAP Landscape Management instance from which the configuration will be exported.

For more information, see Configuring Security Settings.
