Specifying Host Types for Instances

You specify the host types required for an instance.

Procedure

Choose Configuration Systems.
Select the instance you want to configure.

Example
Central instance, database instance, dialog instance, TREX instance, liveCache, custom instance
On the Instance Details tab, choose Edit.
Navigate to the Instance Properties step.
Select the required host type.

Note You can select multiple hosts using CTRL.

To retrieve the host type from SAP Host Agent, choose Retrieve from Host Agent.
Save your entries.
