Configuring the Primary System
You configure the primary system for system replication.
Prerequisites

You have permission Service(ForcedPrepare,ForcedUnPrepare,ForcedStart,ForcedStop).

You comply with the prerequisites for system replication.
For more information, see Setting Up System Replication.

You are logged on to the host of the master name server as user<sid>adm.

The status of the primary system is
Running.

Context
To set up system replication, carry out the following configuration steps on the primary system.
Procedure
- Choose Operations.
- Choose Systems from the tabs.

From the Operations dropdown of the primary system, choose
SAP HANA Replication 
Enable System Replication
.
- Enter a site name for the system.
- Optional: Select the Set Note checkbox and enter a note to be displayed in the Description column of the instance.
- Choose Execute.
- Check if the site has been successfully enabled for system replication.
