You refresh a database to keep the configuration settings of your application
instances such as central instance (CI), dialog instance (DI), and so on.
Prerequisites
The general prerequisites for provisioning systems have been met.
By default, SAP Landscape Management
clones the volumes of the target application servers during a database refresh.
You can change the default settings under SetupSettingsEngineExpert Mode.
You have generated an XML backup data file containing all SAP Landscape Management configuration
details for this system so that you can restore your configuration settings.

Systems enabled for Diagnostics Agent (un-)installation
From the Provisioning dropdown for the system, choose Refresh ProcessesRefresh Database.
If one of the following steps, sections, or fields is not applicable, it is
not displayed or not eligible for selection in the roadmap.
If the validation generated one or more warnings, the navigation to a
following step is canceled. To ignore warnings, choose the Ignore
warnings for this step button and choose
Next to proceed with the following steps.
To validate the data entered in one of the workflow steps without triggering
a navigation, choose the Validate Step button.
To reset one of the workflow steps to its default values, choose the
Reset Step button.
