Concur Invoice Professional Edition Administration Help

October 2017 Mobile Professional Edition Admin Summary

Invoice Approval

With this release, Invoice (payment request) approval has been available via HTML5 (webview). The current enhancement converts it to the native Android/iOS experience. These revised flows and screens make it easier for invoice approvers to review and approve/return payment requests pending their approval.

To improve accessibility for visually impaired users, the Concur mobile app will also include TalkBack (Android) or VoiceOver (iOS) accessibility throughout the entire feature.

Android / iPhone – Setting to Allow Users to Create Requests (Standard Only)

Currently, if a Standard Edition customer wants to allow or not allow their users to create requests (from Concur Request) on the mobile app, the customer had to contact Concur Support for assistance. With this release, the setting to allow/not allow users to create requests is on a new setting page on the Product Settings page in Standard Edition.

Android / iPhone / iPad – Virtual Payment Available on Mobile

If a company is configured to allow its users to use Virtual Payment when booking GDS hotels on the web version of Concur Travel, then they can use it on a mobile device as well.

Android / iPhone / iPad – Push Notifications in China

With this release, push notifications will appear for Expense approvers in China. Push notifications alert the approver to the presence of at least one expense claim that requires review and approval.

The first time a user logs in to the app, they will be prompted to allow the app to send them push notifications, and they can modify these permissions at any time in their general device settings.

Android - New Calendar Tool

When creating expenses, users will see a new calendar tool for date fields. This new tool will be available for report dates in a future release.

Android - Search Field in Location Check-In or Request Assistance

A location search field appears on the Location Check-In and Request Assistance screens when location permission was not granted, so the user can perform a search.

iPhone / iPad – Improved Authentication Flows

With this release, we have refactored our authentication flows to improve stability to our end users.

**Planned Changes** Android / iPhone / iPad – Images

IMPORTANT!!!!

As of 12th November, Concur will discontinue support for a set of imaging APIs, which will affect a user's ability to view receipts/attachments associated with an expense claim header in versions 9.43 and below.

If you are using 9.43 or below, please upgrade the mobile app from the App Store/ Google Play Store.
