Initial Post

Android / iPhone / iPad – Privacy Statement Updated

SAP Concur provides a Privacy Statement as a requirement of being a "processor" of customer data.

A user can access the new SAP Concur Privacy Statement by tapping the Privacy Policy link in Settings in the SAP Concur mobile app. It also appears for customers using Concur Locate, upon accessing Check In Location or Request Safety Assistance screens for the first time.

The new SAP Concur Privacy Statement text is available here: https://www.concur.com/en-us/processor-privacy-statement (English Only)

Android / iPhone / iPad – Request Assistance Renamed

For customers who use Concur Locate, be aware that the Request Assistance menu option and the screen have been renamed to Request Safety Assistance.

Android / iPhone / iPad – Location Access Settings Update

Initial Consent Request

Upon accessing any of the mobile features that access the location data of the user, a message appears, asking the user to grant or not grant their consent for the mobile app to use the user's location information.

  • If the user taps Yes, then they have granted consent for all features within the app to use location information, including the features that the user might not currently be using.

  • If the user taps No, then no features within the app are allowed to use location information, including the features that the user might not currently be using.

Only if the user indicates Yes (and also again for the iOS permission request) can the mobile app access the user's location information.

This consent message is displayed only once.

Android – Copy Expense Claims from the Claims Screen

Users can now swipe left to copy an expense claim from the Claims screen.

iPhone ONLY – New Create Claim Process and Claim Details Screen

With this release, SAP Concur is introducing improvements in the experience for creating a new claim and viewing the Claim Details screen – for iPhone users only. This enhancement makes it easier for users to create and submit expense claims.

The new screens are designed to bring a more consistent, clean, and easy-to-use experience for users. For claim creation, we have focused on better utilising in-page editing and how users are able to select from lists, calendars, etc.

The new claim screen allows users to more easily toggle between their claim header information, the list of available expenses and any receipts that are presently attached to the claim. With this improved view, users will be able to glean more information about their expense claim in a shorter period of time, expediting expense claim creation and submission.

**Planned Changes** Android / iPhone / iPad - ExpenseIt Available in the SAP Concur Mobile App

SAP Concur will soon announce the general availability of its service ExpenseIt – a for-purchase service – on the mobile app. This service provides the user with a single app experience to manage expenses from start to finish. This is a value-added service that turns receipts into expense entries, and sends them directly into Concur Expense. More information will be provided in future release notes.
