Administration

** COMING this Summer ** "Invite Users" Welcome Emails

Soon, each customer will be able to create a "welcome" email template that can be sent when a new login is created, whether manually created or via the Travel import. We are targeting Summer 2017 for release and will keep you updated on progress!

Business Purpose: Customers can create the messaging specific to their company – for its own new Concur users as well as an alternate message for non-employees, as the content is often different.

Flight

Travelport Branded Fares Support – American Airlines

Concur is working closely with our reservation system (GDS) partners to deliver branded airfare content in Concur Travel. With this release, we are pleased to announce that branded fares are now available in Concur Travel for American Airlines for our Travelport customers.

Business Purpose: Travellers can now see and book any available branded fares for this airline within Concur Travel, rather than booking via other channels.

**COMING SOON** Amadeus – Air New Zealand

Historically, Concur has supported branded fares in the Australian and Trans-Tasman markets, through the Flex Faring functionality, but we have not be able to support the intra-New Zealand market due to some technical limitations with how fares are filed in that market. With a recent change by Air New Zealand (NZ) in how their intra-New Zealand fares are filed, Concur will now be able to support those fares through our Flex Faring functionality.

Concur delivered support for these fares for our Sabre customer in late 2016. We are now working to deliver support for our Amadeus customers. We expect to release this feature for Amadeus customers in the next few months.

Business Purpose: Concur Travel users with business in New Zealand will have access to a better assortment of fares for their travel within New Zealand.

**COMING SOON** Air Canada Fare Realignment

Air Canada (AC) will enhance their fare structure in May 2017. With this change, Tango and Flex fare families may share a common booking class. This may affect the way fares are presented in Concur Travel, depending on how customer sites are configured to obtain Air Canada content.

Sabre - Refundable Exchanges

With this release, Concur will enable a new enhancement for our Sabre Automated Exchange customers: the ability to exchange a refundable ticket for another refundable ticket.

Business Purpose: All Concur Travel customers on Sabre who have the post-ticket-change functionality enabled will now be able to change a refundable flight to another refundable flight. Note that when booking a round trip or a multi-segment trip on a single ticket, the most restrictive fare applies at the time of the change.

Web Fares

**COMING 9 May** Southwest Migration to New Reservation System and the Booking Impact

Southwest Airlines is migrating their reservation system from their existing Sabre-based platform to an Amadeus Altea platform. Concur has worked diligently with Southwest for the last 6 months on migration testing in an effort to keep the level of disruptions for clients to a minimum.

The migration will affect the direct connection to Concur Travel for any bookings that traverse the migration cutover date. Southwest has announced that the final cutover date will be 9 May 2017. Refer to the release notes for more information about trip start/end dates that span the 9 May date.

Train

Renfe and Swedish Rail Now Available via Concur Travel

Concur Travel currently provides rail content for US, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. With this release, Concur will add content for Spain (Renfe) and Sweden to the portfolio of Concur Travel rail carriers.

Business Purpose: Travellers can book rail content for Spain and Sweden in Concur Travel – a single, intuitive, web-based interface with effortless user experience.

Amadeus – Support Offline SNCF Bookings

Concur is pleased to announce support for offline SNCF bookings made via the Amadeus Rail Display product.

Business Purpose: End users will now be able to see their offline SNCF bookings in Concur Travel.

**COMING SOON** SNCF Support of Digitalised Bon Voyage

With the evolution of the rules for punctuality guarantees, SNCF wants to digitalise the "Bon Voyage" compensation given to the clients. "Bon Voyage" is used by SNCF to provide financial compensation – currently, in the form of paper vouchers – to a customer when a train is delayed, for example. These vouchers can be used only one time on station channels and travel agency channels.

Business Purpose: With this feature, we provide travellers with the ability to use the Digitalised Bon Voyage code to deduct the voucher amount from the total booking cost.

Meetings

**COMING January 2018** Concur Meeting Discontinued as of 1 January 2018

Starting 01 January 2018, Concur Meeting will not be available to meeting planners or to meeting attendees. Concur advises clients to enable Concur's Third Party Meetings feature.

Profile

Support for Multinational Latin-based Characters

Concur is pleased to announce full support for multinational Latin-based characters for traveller names when creating GDS PNRs. This includes characters used in the Nordic countries, Poland, Germany and other European countries.

Concur’s transliterations follow the standards set forth by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

Travel Profile v2.0 – General Section – SabreProfileId

Travel Profile API 2.0 already allows TMCs, with the proper TMC permissions, to pull the GDS Profile Name. With this release, the API will also present the Sabre Profile ID for TMCs who are interested in pulling the Sabre Profile ID for a user.

The Sabre Profile ID field is supported in both read mode as well as write mode. The maximum number of characters available in write mode is 60.

**COMING in June** XML Profile Sync to be Retired

XML Profile Sync is being retired. After June 2017, Concur will no longer developmentally support XML Sync as all of our resources will be focused on Travel Profile API 2.0 as our designated profile synchronisation process. As per API Lifecycle & Deprecation Policy, only critical issues will be addressed between January 2017 and June 2017. After June 2017, Concur will ensure that the service is available, but will not address any bugs discovered in the service.

Miscellaneous

Email Search Results

With this release, Travel users can email search results directly from Concur Travel. The Print / Email link appears on the search results page, just above the Shop by Fares and Shop by Schedule tabs.

Business Purpose: Users no longer have to take the extra step of cutting-and-pasting the search results into email.

Improvements to Hotel E-Receipt Success Rates

With this release, Concur will eliminate the requirement for a credit card to be enrolled in the e-receipts program in order for travellers to receive hotel e-receipts. Users will still be able to opt-out individual credit cards from the e-receipts program to prevent them from being shared with hotel e-receipt suppliers.

Business Purpose: Travellers will get more e-receipts from participating hotel e-receipt suppliers and will spend less time completing expense claims.

Ignore New PNRs with Travel Request IDs

With this release, Concur will ignore PNRs on the Claim Queue or from TBF (Travelport Booking Feed) if they have a Request ID and do not yet exist in Concur.

Business Purpose: This change relieves a pain point for TMCs and clients. Historically, Concur has advised TMCs to not place PNRs on the Claim Queue or allow them to be sent via TBF if they were going to eventually appear on the Offline Approval Queue. That process proved unworkable.

After this release, TMCs will be able to create a PNR with a Request ID and let it flow to Concur normally without worrying about disrupting the approval process. Once the PNR is consumed from the Offline Approval Queue, Concur will accept future updates from the Claim Queue or TBF.

Support for TLS v 1.0 Encryption Protocol to End

Concur announces an End of Support cycle for version 1.0 of the TLS encryption protocol, continuing support for the more secure 1.1 and 1.2 versions of TLS. As background, the TLS protocol allows secure back and forth communications between a phone or computer and a cloud-based service.

Sunset Gogo Smartphone All Day Pass

Gogo will soon discontinue offering the Gogo Wi-Fi Smartphone All Day Pass. When they do, Concur will remove it from Travel and the documentation.

Gogo Wi-Fi All Day Pass option will continue to be available.

**COMING SOON** Changes to E-Receipts Impacting Travel-Only Clients

Concur has invested in new e-receipt technology that will allow Concur’s partners to deliver richer, higher-quality receipts than is currently possible. This is an important step in the fulfilment of our vision of the effortless expense claim. To deliver the best user experience, e-receipts will now only be available for customers that have Concur Expense.

The ability for travellers to view the e-receipts associated with a particular trip while viewing the itinerary will be removed. Travel-only customers will no longer have access to e-receipts. Travel & Expense customers will now access receipts exclusively through Expense where action can be taken on them.

**COMING August 2017** Microsoft IE v.10 Browser Support Ends 18 August 2017

Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 10 browsers under Concur products will end on 18 August 2017. Concur strongly advises clients using IE v.10 to update to the latest IE browser version before that date, or to install and work with another supported browser.

Internet Explorer 10 Deprecation – UI Banner

After Concur has deprecated TLS 1.0 from concursolutions.com, Internet Explorer 10 will be queued for deprecation in August 2017. A banner will be added in Concur in April 2017 to notify remaining users of Internet Explorer 10 that their browser version will no longer be supported and to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11.

Business Purpose: Upgrading to Internet Explorer 11 will enable companies to use a supported Microsoft browser that – by default – supports TLS 1.2.

**COMING August 2017** New Payment Option in Concur Travel: Virtual Payment

In 2017, Concur Travel will be partnering with Conferma, a technology provider that works with banks and travel suppliers, to issue virtual cards for use with their network of travel suppliers across 184 countries.

The first phase of the integration will apply to GDS hotels. Additional travel services (flight, train, etc.) will follow soon after.

TMCs will have one month’s early access, beginning in July. The feature will become available for everyone with the August release.

Business Purpose: Concur Travel will generate a one-time credit card number for a specified amount (including a CVV number, if necessary) and will pass that card number to the hotel supplier. In addition, the hotel will be faxed with the card information, thus securing a direct bill for that hotel reservation.
