The Manager Dashboard alert is now removed from Concur. With this update, the Manager Dashboard report is no longer automatically sent to BI Managers as part of the Actionable Analytics.
The Manager Dashboard report is still available in Intelligence. The report is located here:
Intelligence - Standard Reports > Premium Dashboards > Actionable Analytics > Manager Dashboard
To continue receiving the Manager Dashboard report, BI Managers need to schedule the Manager Dashboard report.
WHAT THE ADMIN SEES
The Manager Dashboard check box is now removed from the Actionable Analytics Set Up tab in Reporting Configuration.
WHAT THE BI MANAGER SEES
The Manager Dashboard check box is now removed from the Notification Settings page (Profile > Profile Settings > Notification Settings) for BI Managers.
SCHEDULING THE MANAGER DASHBOARD
To schedule the Manager Dashboard report, a schedule needs to be added to the report view for the Manager Dashboard report in Cognos. A report view, named Report View of Manager Dashboard, may have been automatically created for BI Managers in their My Folders directory. If so, BI Managers just need to schedule this report view.
If the My Folders directory for BI Managers does not contain the Report View of Manager Dashboard, the BI Managers can create this report view, and then schedule the report view. We have included the steps for creating and scheduling a report view for the Manager Dashboard report in this topic.
To create a report view for the Manager Dashboard report:
- In Cognos, navigate to Public Folders > Intelligence – Standard Reports > Premium Dashboards > Actionable Analytics > Manager Dashboard.
- Click the Create a report view of this report icon for the Manager Dashboard report.
- The New Report View wizard page opens.
- Enter the report name, description and screen tip. The default location for the report is: Public Folders > Intelligence - Standard Reports > Premium Dashboards > Actionable Analytics. It is best practice for BI Managers to save the report view to My Folders so that the view is only visible and available to the BI Manager.
- In the Location section, click Select My Folders, and then click Finish. Clicking Finish creates a report view for the Manager Dashboard report on the My Folders tab.
To schedule the report view for the Manager Dashboard report:
- Click the My Folders tab.
- Click the Schedule icon for the Report View of Manager Dashboard.
- The Schedule page opens.
- Define the schedule for the Manager Dashboard report, and then click OK.
The UK VAT Dashboard, which was an active report, was converted into a normal Report Studio report. The dashboard was converted because the UK VAT Dashboard is a core report for specific markets.
SCHEDULING THE CONVERTED REPORT
If you currently have a schedule and report view defined for the active report version of the UK VAT Dashboard, be sure to update your schedule and report view to point to the new Report Studio version of the UK VAT Dashboard.
The new Report Studio version of the report has the same name as the original active report version of the report: UK VAT Dashboard.
LOCATION OF THE REPORT
The new Report Studio version of the report is located here:
- Intelligence - Standard Reports > Tax
- Insight Premium - Standard Reports > Tax
Other Changes
New SAP Concur LogoAfter the January release, the SAP Concur logo appeared in all Concur products.

WHAT THE USER SEES IN COGNOS
The new SAP Concur logo is displayed in the upper-left corner of Cognos.
WHAT THE USER SEES IN CONCUR PRODUCTS
The new SAP Concur logo is displayed in the upper-left corner of each page.
Both the SAP and Concur logos appear in the footer.
If a Travel Management Company (TMC) has rebranded in the footer, in addition to the TMC logo, the SAP logo will appear.
Planned Changes
The items in this section are targeted for future releases. Concur reserves the right to postpone implementation of – or completely remove – any enhancement/change mentioned here.
Report Changes: **Planned Changes** Changes to the Run History for Standard ReportsThe run history details for all standard reports will be hidden after the February 2018 release as part of ongoing security improvements. Clients will still be able to view the run history for a report, just not the run history details.
In previous release notes, the release note indicated that clients would not be able to run active reports anymore from the Standard Reports folder once the run history for standard reports was hidden. Because only the run history details will be hidden, not the run history (which required changes to permissions), clients can continue running active reports from the Standard Reports folder even after the run history details are hidden.
WHAT THE USER WILL SEE
When a client clicks the View run history details button in the Actions column on the View run history page, the View run history details page will no longer be displayed. Clicking the View run history details button will open the following message:
The View run history details page is no longer accessible to prevent the display of potential personal and sensitive data.
Report Changes: **Planned Changes** Actionable Analytics UpdatesA number of changes are planned for the Actionable Analytics alerts. Concur will be enhancing the Actionable Analytics platform to provide additional alerting capabilities in the future. Included in these changes is improving the readability of the emails and formatting them to better align with the other email messages sent out by Concur. A key focus will be making the emails more mobile-friendly and adding support for plain text messages.
PERCENT OF BUDGET
The Percent of Budget alert email will be enhanced to be mobile-friendly and to align with the format used for other Concur email messages.
CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS
The Credit Card Transactions alert email will be enhanced to be mobile-friendly and to align with the format used for other Concur email messages.
The Credit Card Transactions alert will also be split into two separate alerts. One for credit card transactions meeting or exceeding the transaction threshold, and one for credit card transactions associated with specific merchant category codes that are flagged for review.
Having two separate Credit Card Transactions alerts will provide BI Managers with more clarity about why they are receiving the alert, and provide additional flexibility regarding which alerts they want to receive.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE UPDATES
With both the Percent of Budget and Credit Card Transactions alerts there will be no disruption when the alerts are moved to the new platform. Any BI Manager currently receiving these alerts will continue to receive the alerts; the alerts will simply be delivered using the new email format.
For more information about Actionable Analytics, refer to the Analysis/Intelligence: Actionable Analytics User Guide (English Only).
Other Changes: **Planned Changes** Opt Out of In-Product Messaging (United States)Last year, when in-product messaging was introduced in Europe, the feature included the ability for users to opt out of messaging.
Targeted for the March release, Concur will provide customers in the United States the ability to opt out.
Other Changes: **Planned Changes** New Feature for Outdated DataThis new feature will allow clients to control how long Concur stores their data based on who, when and where criteria.
Business Purpose / Client Benefit: This feature gives clients the ability to meet their specific compliance needs regarding data retention.
Other Changes: **Planned Changes** Removing the "Privacy Agreement" PageFor clients who currently display the Privacy Agreement page to users, be aware that on 14 April, 2018, Concur will eliminate that page. That means the privacy agreement will no longer display under any circumstances. In addition, the options to customise the privacy agreement text and to apply policy (for example, to require that a user accept the privacy agreement) will be removed.
In a separate release, Concur will provide a standard privacy statement, which can be accessed via a link in the page footer.
This release note discusses the removal of the Privacy Agreement page and its associated configuration options. Information about the new Concur privacy statement will be provided in future release notes.
The intent of the change is to ensure that all customers see the same unmodified Concur privacy statement.
