Concur Invoice Professional Edition Administration Help

March 2018 Mobile Professional Edition Admin Summary

Android / iPhone – Budget on Mobile

When Concur's new Budget solution becomes available in the web version of Concur, it will also be available on the mobile app.

On the mobile app, it will be available for Standard and Professional editions for:

  • SMN clients in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada and the US

  • Enterprise clients in the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico

Budget provides users with information about their own budgets as well as budgets that are shared with other budget owners. Making the budget information available on the mobile app gives Budget users (Budget Owners, Budget Viewers or Budget Managers) more flexibility and the ability to react quickly.

The streamlined views allow Budget users to quickly see if their budget is approaching its limit or is already over limit. For iPhone, Budget users can toggle between budgets and approvals so they know – in real time – if there is enough budget remaining to allow approval of an expense.

Budget users can see their budgets in a yearly, quarterly and monthly view. Users will also be sent push notifications if their budget is approaching its limit or is over limit.

Android / iPhone / iPad – **Ongoing** Feature-Level Location Settings for Concur Locate, Drive and Travel

The information described here applies to:

  • Concur Locate for the March release

  • Concur Drive, targeted for the April release

  • Concur Travel, targeted for the April release

This feature enhances the process when a user allows/disallows SAP Concur access to their location.

When a user initially accesses a feature that asks for location permission – in this case, Concur Locate – a privacy page is displayed.

If the user chooses No, Thanks, the mobile app respects that action and requests no more information about the user's location.

If the user chooses I Agree, the mobile app asks for location permission on a system level – in this case, for Concur Locate.

iPhone / iPad – App Transport Security (ATS) Requirement Coming on 23rd March 2018 (For SSO Clients Only)

In March 2017, Concur sent a communication to impacted clients regarding ATS enforcement. This is in response to Apple’s requirement to improve user security and privacy by requiring apps to use secure network connections over HTTPS and not HTTP. For accessing our Concur mobile app, this enforcement will begin on 23 March 2018.

If you are a Single Sign-On (SSO) client, please ensure the following items are verified:

  • SSO URL is using HTTPS

  • No unsecured (via HTTP) SSO redirects within your network

At Concur, protecting your information is our top priority. The ATS requirement improves data security and privacy when communicating through mobile applications. Please note that it is important that the above items are updated, as once the ATS is enforced, non-compliant users will see a blank screen and be unable to access the Concur mobile app.

For more information, refer to the FAQ (English only).

Android / iPhone / iPad – Language Update

With this release, Turkish will be available.

Android – Improved Data Security

To improve data security for all users, we have added additional encryption measures to protect your information.

Android – Swipe Actions on the Expense Screen

Android users can now swipe items on the Expenses screen and then choose from the options that appear.

**Planned Changes** Android / iPhone / iPad – New One-Year Filter for Expenses

Currently additional design work is being done for this feature, which incorporates client feedback. Concur plans to provide details about the revised design later.

In 2018, there will be a change where the expense list will no longer display expenses older than one year.

This new feature automatically filters expenses with transaction dates older than one year and only displays expenses added within the past 23 months, to provide an easier end-user experience. This change will be consistent with the web version of Concur.

**Planned Changes** New Privacy Statement Planned for May Release

In the release note named **Planned Changes** Removing the "Privacy Agreement" Page, we describe changes that will occur when the current customisable privacy policy is discontinued. We also discuss the new Privacy Statement that SAP Concur will provide as a requirement of being a "processor" of customer data.

The intent is to replace all occurrences of customised or unique policy text – in all SAP Concur products and the mobile app – with the SAP Concur Processor Privacy Statement, which describes our processing activities of customer data.

Be aware that the new text will be available soon, targeted for May.

Business Purpose/Client Benefit: The intent of the change is to ensure that all customers see the same unmodified SAP Concur privacy statement.
