Release Note Summaries
With this release, Request users can now create expense claims from approved requests.
Business Purpose / Client Benefit: This feature provides users with an improved experience, by allowing them to easily create an expense claim - from an approved request - without leaving the request screen.
With this release, users will now see updated Mileage related expenses icons in the Expense List.
Business Purpose / Client Benefit: This provides users with standard icons for every Mileage expense.
Effective April (9.79) Mobile release, the SAP Concur data centre is now enforcing the new deprecation policy for the mobile app. With this new policy, the SAP Concur data centre is no longer managing the requirements of the older versions of the mobile app.
When the current mobile version of the app is older than the last 7 versions, users see an upgrade notice on the login page and are no longer able to access the SAP Concur mobile app on their mobile device. Users with versions older than 9.72 lose access to the SAP Concur mobile app.
When the current mobile app version on a user’s device is older than the two latest versions, SAP Concur notifies them - through a Message Centre message and push notifications – that they are no longer using a supported version of the app.
For more information about the retention policy, review this FAQ (English only).
Business Purpose / Client Benefit: This policy encourages users to use the most recent version of the mobile app with current features available on the app. It also provides users with more stable versions of the app that are better maintained.
On 31 March, 2020, SAP Concur mobile app users will have the ability to shop, book and cancel content from Hotel Service V2.
User / Customer Benefit: Travellers expect to be able to book travel on any device. After 31 March, travellers will be able to search, book and cancel Hotel Service V2-sourced hotels from within the SAP Concur mobile app.

These changes are part of the SAP Concur solutions continued commitment to maintaining secure authentication.
Targeted for the August (9.83) Mobile release, SAP Concur solutions plans to retire the Mobile PIN sign-in option in the SAP Concur mobile app.
With the retirement of the mobile PIN sign-in option, users will continue to be able to sign into the mobile app via the following methods:
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Mobile SSO
SAP Concur SAML v2
Username and password
E-mail address and password
Business Purpose / Client Benefit: The retirement of this feature better supports secure authentication by removing the less secure PIN option, simplifies the way users sign into the SAP Concur mobile app and makes the mobile sign-in experience more consistent with the web sign-in experience.
Targeted for the May (9.81) Mobile release, the SAP Concur mobile app will be available in Thai. To use this language, the user sets the device to this language, and the mobile app will automatically display content in that language.
Targeted for the August (9.83) Mobile release, the Mobile Sign In page will be redesigned and improved. The enhancements will improve the user experience, improve security and simplify configuration. It will also assist customers who use more than one Identity Provider (like OKTA or Azure) for Single Sign-On (SSO).
There will be additional changes, which will be described in future release notes.
