April 2018 Mobile Professional Edition Admin Summary
Android / iPhone / iPad – Concur Drive Now Available
SAP Concur is pleased to announce the general availability of Concur Drive – a for-purchase service – on the mobile app. Using Drive, users can automatically use GPS to track their travel distance two ways:
Manual Start/Stop: This method allows a driver to initiate GPS tracking with a click of a button and then stop when they want their trip to end. This is a good option for drivers who want more control over the trips that are being captured.
– or –
Automatic (scheduled): Drivers set up the day and time (for example, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM) for which the app will automatically track trips by detecting car movement. This option is for drivers who want to be almost exclusively hands off.
Once distance tracking is activated – either manually or automatically – on the mobile device, the SAP Concur mobile app captures the various routes the user takes. This data is available in Concur Expense and the mobile app, where the user can select the segments to add to an expense claim.
Since Drive uses GPS, tracking distance is easier and more accurate. In addition, the company can create audit rules that remind its users to use Drive or to provide a comment if they don't. In future releases, reporting, approver access to the tracked routes and other options will become available.

**Planned Changes** Android / iPhone / iPad - ExpenseIt Available in the SAP Concur Mobile App
SAP Concur will soon announce the general availability of its service ExpenseIt – a for-purchase service – on the mobile app. This service provides the user with a single app experience to manage expenses from start to finish. This is a value-added service that turns receipts into expense entries, and sends them directly into Concur Expense. More information will be provided in future release notes.
Android / iPhone / iPad – New Privacy Statement
SAP Concur will provide a new Privacy Statement as a requirement of being a "processor" of customer data. Be aware that the term "processor" here is not at all related to the Processor roles found in most SAP Concur products.
The intent is to replace all occurrences of customised or unique policy text – in all SAP Concur products and the mobile app – with the SAP Concur Processor Privacy Statement, which describes our processing activities of customer data. This will ensure that all customers see the same unmodified SAP Concur Privacy Statement.
A user can access the new SAP Concur Privacy Statement by tapping the Privacy Policy link in Settings in the SAP Concur mobile app.
The new SAP Concur Privacy Statement text is available here:
