Concur Expense

The Entry and Entry Allocation options are now supported for budget audit rules in Concur Expense.

Business Purpose / Client Benefit: This change enables clients to create conditions based on expense-level fields and on an allocation.

Typically, Finance only provides budgets to higher level management, whereas lower-level managers may receive an informal budget amount from their direct manager without a good way to track the spend of their teams against that budget. With the Team Budget feature, a manager at any level can quickly and easily create a team budget and track their team's spend against an amount over time.

For example, most of the operational budgets are non-discretionary whereas Travel and Expense (T&E) is one of the few discretionary costs under management control. Creating team budgets at all levels of management will allow companies to gain better visibility and control of T&E spend over time.

Budget owners will have the ability to create and self-manage team budgets in the Budget Dashboard. This will eliminate dependency on budget admins and reduce the administrative burden for admins.
