Usage Overview

The mobile services Client Usage and User Feedback service, powered by SAP Analytics Cloud, provides you with insights into user behavior which are required to evolve your apps in a meaningful way. On top of the collected usage date from your apps, mobile services provides you with a set of prepared reports which helps you to identify improvement areas of your apps as well as measuring the success of your apps. These insights allow you to streamline development resources to areas of improvement and provide data-driven decisions for further investments or disinvestments.

Procedure

  1. Enable the Client Usage and User Feedback feature in the SAP mobile service cockpit.
  2. Build an app using SAP Mobile Cards, Mobile Development Kit, the SAP Business Technology Platform SDKs for Android and iOS to collect standard usage data such as user sessions.
  3. Use the APIs provided by the Mobile Development Kit and the SAP Business Technology Platform SDKs for Android and iOS to define and upload custom usage events.
